The Caterpillar Room

In this room, children enjoy our dramatic play corner, a play kitchen, toddler climbing equipment, and our entire wall of shelves filled with children's books. This room used to be the library when the building was the public elementary school!

The caterpillar room also has our changing table, rocking chairs, two bathrooms with accommodations for young children, and cribs for babies. Nap time for all children takes place in this room. We drawn the shades and we play soft music to create a relaxing space for rest.

All of the children at our school have access to both of these rooms and move throughout the two classrooms throughout the day.

The Garden

Our outdoor space features a garden with raised beds where we grow tomatoes, lettuce and flowers. The children love to  help to plant, weed, water and harvest!

The Woods

Children love to spend time in our outdoor classroom space, exploring the woods. We have natural barriers such as stone walls and tree logs to mark the boundaries, and we maintain the space by raking leaves and trimming branches.

The Playground

The playground is a perfect gross motor exploration and activity area for toddlers, preschool and  school age children. There is a swing set with five swings, and a climbing structure with a slide.

The Blacktop

This is the perfect space for riding tricycles and playing with toy trucks.

The Schoolhouse

The Plymouth Schoolhouse is located in the building that used to be Plymouth Elementary School, which was the public elementary school for Plymouth. The building now houses Plymouth Schoolhouse and The Plymouth Historical Society.
